Balthazar Cabinet

During a visit to the post-modern ‘Merci’ in Paris, Henk Teunissen’s eye fell on a weathered library bookcase. It transpired that the bookcase used to reside in the old demolished library in Amsterdam. Henk was eager to return the bookcase to the Netherlands in his own inimitable style.

This Balthazar Cabinet is based on the design of that bookcase. The addition to sloped edges and a few extra details has transformed this weathered bookcase into a real showpiece.
