Wood weathered by wind, rain, water, and daily use. The wood used for this headboard is recycled and comes from the North American elm tree. The wood has a naturally weathered colour, the pattern and texture of the wood grain can be seen and felt clearly. Purely natural and truly old.
After a long life in service as front doors, some 80 to 120 years later the untreated wood has been used to make tabletops, cupboards… and now a bed and headboard.
